Thanks to Crisp, a wonderful person from the khvids.net forums, there are some absolutely beautiful rips of the Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM cutscenes that are pretty much the best quality possible and don't have have subtitles blocking out half the images.

This means I've started on the wonderful journey of redoing Zexion's icons.

However!

Nearly all of the scenes Zexion is in take place in the Castle Oblivion basement, which, for reasons unknown (though I like to think it's because Marluxia cut our lightbulb budget), doesn't really have any light. This leads to very dark screencaps that need a lot of love before they're actually visible.

But now I can't decide.

Image A is from the game's promotional website; it's my best base for how the designers intended those scenes to look. Image B is the actual screenshot. It is daaaaark. And image C is another website shot, this one of Zexion in normal light.

It's been a while since I've done anything like this for Ine or Zexion, so ask me questions! Calling a near-full hiatus for Zexion, Deneb and Ine until the end of January. Expect long periods of radio silence as I buckle down to finish my (long-overdue) coursework.

I'll try and finish up any current threads I've got during occasional breaks, but after that,

Zexion was attacked by an unruly ribbon while heading down to the labs, and his unconscious body has been carried away by the love goo creature.

Ine is tied up with phone calls and paperwork.

Deneb has gotten stuck in his gun form, and has been kidnapped for gorilla warfare.

[In the early morning, on an (only slightly) rickety picnic bench near the bulletin board for the 'outer east' section of camp (most notable for the residences of the Vongola mafia family and the majority of the camp's storm riders), there is a pot of tea. And a mug of tea. And a nobody.

And something is wrong.

The teapot, though small, is nearly full; the mug likewise. The temperature of both has had time to settle into 'vaguely lukewarm' -- and still they sit there, without being drunk, Zexion watching the slow settling movement of the few fragments of leaves at the bottom of his cup.]

IRC: You'll only find me in cast chans, but I'm there a good chunk of the time. I'm usually nicked on Zexion, or rarely Ine or Deneb if I'm threading.

Alternatives: Email at ranith at gmail; google talk at the same.

Style: I am really not adept at smalltalk at all, and tend to flounder at the 'hi how are you' stage. But if you've got a question about a thread, I will ramble about character motivation forever if you let me.

Threading

Playing frequency: I start new threads two to three times a week, and am generally active evenings EST.

Replying speed: Slow, meaning five to ten minute gaps are typical if all I am doing is threading with you. Time increases if I am juggling other threads, characters, or doing anything outside of CFUD.

Thread pickup: I will keep replying to Zexion or Ine threads for days. Sometimes weeks. Deneb is far less so; he's more spontaneous and has a lot less going on under the surface. So far, I don't think he's had any threads that have lasted beyond the day after.

Comfort levels: Angst is okay, romance is okay, and for all that I do them but once in a blue moon, I do love fight threads.

Posting

Frequency: Less than once a month.

Spontaneity: Medium-high. Most of my posts happen the same night or within a few days of getting the idea. I may sit on an idea for months, but the longer between getting the idea and throwing up the post, the less likely it is to happen.

Postrape: I love running posts! But I am not very good at it. I begin losing the battle at about fifteen threads.

Time before a post is abandoned: Zexion and Ine's posts are normally tended for up to three days. Deneb's, so far, are usually done after four to six hours.

Quirks

New canon: I am very very spoiler-shy, especially regarding the upcoming Kingdom Hearts games -- I would prefer to not know anything about them at all until I've got them in hand at which point I will retreat from the outside world for as long as it takes to finish them. Air Gear I'm usually caught up on soon as the raws come out. In all cases, once I've actually seen/read the canon in question, I will gladly flail about it for hours.

AUs: I may have a few here and there, but at this point my favourite to play around with are just general post-camp storylines. Uhuhu post-camp AUs~
